The Clay County Board of Commissioners operates and maintains two day use areas on Lake Walter F. George for our residents and visitors to the area. Sandy Branch Park is a shallow water boat ramp located off the main waters of Lake Walter F. George. The peaceful winding drive into the park is an opportunity to site various wildlife. The park offers picnic areas, beach area for shore fishing and the boat ramp.
There is no charge for the boat launch.
