One of the top festivals in Southwest Georgia is Christmas at the Fort. The annual event is always held the Saturday before Thanksgiving in the historic Fort Gaines Pioneer Village. Over one hundred exhibitors of all sorts display their wares. Some 5-6,000 visitors will tour the "Gaines" and the fesitval.
